Cooking with Amanda Belz

We were delighted to welcome Amanda Belz back to our July meeting. Amanda is a trainer at the Oxford Brookes University, School of Hospitality Management. She has previously entertained and inspired us with two delicious cookery demonstrations, and we were not disappointed this time. Amanda was assisted by her daughter, Hannah, and between them they prepared flatbreads and brioche, beetroot and courgette burgers, crab cakes, coleslaw with a fennel twist, strawberry ripple ice-cream and a meringue gelato cake with chocolate sauce. This wonderful array of summer dishes, were all produced within 90 minutes. Needless to say, it took us much less time to taste everything, and not a crumb remained by the end of our meeting! here to edit.
