Subject: Freeland WI meeting on 10th February
 

Good morning members, 

 

We enjoyed a practical and interesting discussion of CPR by Chris Tancock in the last meeting.

 

• We started the New year with a visit from Chris Tancock who started up "A Pint of Life".   Chris demonstrated all we need to know about:-

           How to apply First Aid, How to perform CPR, 

           How to use a Defibrillator, How to recognise a Heart Attack

 

It concluded with an engaging question and answers session of different scenarios that one could encounter.

​

In February we will be discussing the Resolutions and playing the Snowball Game.

 

REMINDERS
 

• A reminder to bring along your subscriptions for 2020. The Subs are £43 for the year. Pay with cash or cheque made payable to Freeland WI or by direct bank transfer (Marilyn, Treasurer,  will give you the necessary details)

 

• We will be holding our usual raffle and will have a sign up sheet for members to sign for setting up the hall, refreshments and raffle.

 

• We will continue to support the Witney Food Bank this year. The blue box will be on the table for any of your generous donations. 

 

We look forward to seeing you on Monday evening for our second meeting of 2020.
