An evening of Golf Croquet

We had an outing for our July meeting and an introduction to croquet. Twenty two members assembled at the hall for a car share to Eynsham Croquet Club. it was certainly a voyage of discovery - some of us had lived in the area for over thirty years and had no idea it even existed! We spent a very enjoyable evening learning the basics of this seemingly simple, but surprisingly complicated game and rounded off the evening with a glass of bubbly. I'm sure appetites wee whetted - for the croquet, not the fizz - and the Croquet Club is hoping to get some new members as a result of the evening. Have a look at the photos in the gallery.
